Feeling particularly Juice-y.
I’m in Juice.ph’s issue this month, together with jewelry designers Tara Soriano and Aziza Mondoñedo. Thank you to the ladies Juice, not only for the feature, but for making it such a fun and girl-tastic experience. I adore working with intelligent and creative women, and the Juice team is no exception.
Click through to read the full feature, or click here to check out some of the...

Pigments, lips, and a whole lot of love.
I’ve been getting a lot of messages from you, dear friends, regarding my favorite lipsticks. And as you all know, even though I’m not a “professional” blogger, I will use any excuse to talk about makeup.
So this past Holy Week, I rounded up my most loved lippies, keeping a varied mix of colors and finishes. These were swatched on my arm (let the true Cullen-ness of my...

What happens if you fall in love with a writer?
karenfelloutofbedagain:
Lots of things might happen. That’s the thing about writers. They’re unpredictable. They might bring you eggs in bed for breakfast, or they might all but ignore you for days. They might bring you eggs in bed at three in the morning. Or they might wake you up for sex at three in the morning. Or make love at four in the afternoon. They might not sleep at all. Or they might...

Since everyone’s weighing in on Kony 2012, here’s my two cents (plus a little bit of history on the conflict in question).

Taste of Runway: Food is fashion? →
Stumbled upon this little blog that posts dishes/recipes inspired by runway looks. Roasted tomato and goat cheese hot crostini inspired by Celine, or cream of pumpkin and leek soup inspired by Dolce and Gabbana.
It’s a little ridiculous, but I do like the idea of fashion making people want to have or share a nice meal. And either way, it all looks quite delicious.

13 nominations, das wassup.
Direk Marilou always says the awards don’t matter in the long run, but it’s still nice to be appreciated for the blood, sweat, and tears that came with turning this project into a reality. Congratulations to everyone who was a part of Ikaw Ang Pag-ibig, especially the nominees. You deserve every bit of recognition.
Now let’s PARTAYYYY.

Lead My Lips
Makeup-wise, I think lipstick is one of those products that a girl can easily have fun with. You don’t need to be a rocket scientist, acquire a professional license, or possess a bunch of brushes to make it work. (If ever, you just need one, and even then it’s not totally necessary.) Just a pair of lips and a steady hand, and who knows how your look could change.
But this week, there’s...

That Love is Enough
Reposting my article from last Saturday’s issue of Philippine Star Supreme as my way of saying happy Valentine’s day to all of you! ♡

Valentine’s Day, like all other holidays worth celebrating, comes with two things: pressure and traffic.
If you’re part of a “we,” the bells and whistles are pretty apparent. Flowers, chocolates, dinner reservations, the perfect dress, ...

Prints Charming: Dries Van Noten →
Thanks to Stacy for sending this to me!
I’m a huge fan of Dries Van Noten’s work, especially his refined use of color and prints. I also respect the fact that he is an independent designer with full creative control of his brand (even though there have been a few misses in his last few seasons, which broke my heart a little). He is easily in my top 3 designers list, and this new...

Les Merveilleuses De Ladurée
If you love their sweets and have a bit of a make-up obsession, prepare for both worlds to meet.
Ladurée (of the macaron fame) has teamed up with Japanese makeup company Albion, coming out with a makeup line called Les Merveilleuses De Ladurée later this month. It will debut exclusively in Japan, but there are rumors that it will be released in Europe, U.S. and Asia much later in the year.
